Alli Pareti

Alli’s understanding of yoga continues to unfold and evolve with each moment of loving presence.  A student of movement her whole life, Alli stepped deeper onto a committed path nearly ten years ago, completing her 200hr teacher training through Flow Yoga with Steph Adams and Adi Vajra. She is trained in guiding sustainable and functional asana, yoga nidra meditation, aerial yoga, and barre. Alli encourages a lighthearted approach that inspires students of all ages to meet their bodies where they are at, while staying oriented towards the unique magic that is found when we are sincere, willing and devoted.

There will be many aspects of yoga integrated into the class including pranayama/breathwork, philosophy/theme, bandhas, and often mantra. You can always expect whole body warmth, strength, stretching, releasing and balancing, AND a 36 foam roller will be a prop we use regularly and creatively, so please have that available if you register for the Online version of this class.

Vin/Yin is a practice intended to find that balanced point between effort and ease. In the first half of this class, expect to be guided through a breath-to-movement Vinyasa style flow to build strength, empowerment, balance, and connection to your body and breath through movement. For the second half of class, you will be guided towards a gentle, grounded Yin practice: think longer-held poses to target the deeper connective tissues and invite stillness and calm. Strength and action will melt seamlessly into softness and tranquility.
