From an early age, Jessica has been curious and invested in exploring the connection between her mind, body, and spirit through the medium of dance. Jessica attended NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she received a BFA in Dance and a minor in Psychology. In 2014, she became a 300 hour licensed Mind Body Dancer® yoga teacher under the direction of TaraMarie Perri. Alongside dancing professionally in NYC, Jessica began to develop her body of work, Luminous Architecture, in 2015 as her interests in movement and wellness began to branch out. While living in NYC, she built a diverse private clientele, served as a wellness consultant for companies like Reuters and the Freedom Institute, and taught group yoga and fitness classes at various studios across the city.
In 2018, Jessica left the hustle of the big city and relocated to the Pacific Northwest, allowing her to live in closer connection with the rhythms of nature. The wisdom of the natural world and the cycles found within it guide how she structures her own life, and facilitates her offerings to others. Jessica's teaching style weaves together a creative, yet functional approach to movement through anatomical awareness, therapeutic practices, nature connection, and energetic explorations. In class, she strives to empower others and hold space for the medicine of movement to work its magic.
