Fluid Strength and Stillness for Yoga Teachers & Movement Instructors
Saturday, April 18 • 11:30 am – 2:30 pm
SAYF Hatha Roll is a professional certification pathway for yoga teachers and movement instructors who want to integrate fascial and lymphatic science into mindful, sustainable practice.
This live workshop is the in-person immersion for the SAYF Hatha Roll Certification and introduces a powerful new way to use the foam roller as both a prop and therapeutic tool within asana, breathwork, and somatic sequencing.
Together we will explore how slow transitions, breath-led movement, and intelligent prop use can support fascial glide, joint integrity, fluid circulation, and nervous-system regulation—while preserving the integrity and spirit of yoga practice.
• How to use the foam roller as a supportive yoga prop
• How to integrate slow eccentrics and unweighting into asana
• How rolling and yoga work together to support recovery and resilience
• How to design safe, accessible Hatha Roll sequences
• How this work fits into the larger SAYF certification pathway
This workshop pairs with a comprehensive online training program that completes the certification.
Your online training begins with the science and theory that supports this work:
• The Fascial System — the body’s living connective network
• The Lymphatic System — fluid circulation and tissue health
• Breath & Nervous System — regulation through awareness
• Science of Foam Rolling — pressure, pacing, and perception
Specialized modules then focus on teaching application:
• Core Teaching Principles of Hatha Roll
• Foam Roller Applications in Asana
• Integrated Class Sequencing & Formats
• Integration, Recovery & Sustainability
• Marketing & Launching Hatha Roll Classes
Upon completion of the online training, you will receive a Certificate of Completion and 15 Yoga Alliance CE hours.
