    StrollerFit is an outdoor functional fitness class for us mamas to strengthen our bodies, minds, and community, all while engaging with our little ones.

    We will meet at the back of Flow Studio (alley entrance) and load up our strollers with light dumbbells. From there, our warm up begins with a brisk walk. We will set up in a circle on the grass & practice functional fitness exercises (body weight & weighted) that are aimed to keep you both strong and supple through the daily demands of motherhood. Class will include cardio, strength training, core work, stretching…and the occasional dance party. There will be both standing & grounded mat work. This class offers a holistic, mindful approach to fitness that creates resilience in your body - modifications will gladly be provided for those navigating injuries or finding themselves in the season of pregnancy. You’ll leave class feeling energized, empowered, and strong as a mother!

    Please bring a stroller, yoga/fitness mat, and a blanket for your little one to lay on. This class is designed with mamas in mind, however, any caregiver can attend with their little one. Stroller age babies, toddlers, & young kiddos welcome.

    About your teacher: Jessica Valentín is passionate about supporting women through the seasons of their lives with holistic movement and wellness guidance. With her extensive training as a professional dancer, and a decade of experience teaching yoga and functional movement, she brings an embodied wisdom to facilitating movement guidance for others. As a first time mama, she understands the physical, mental, and emotional demands of caring for a little one, and strives to create a communal movement space that is supportive and nourishing for mothers. Jessica offers practical and relatable movement guidance for mamas, and is especially interested in helping women move well and thrive in motherhood.
